Buy The New iPad 3 For 5% Off Retail

The new iPad3, or iPad HD as some people are calling it, was unveiled to the public today. Details are still coming in. It looks like this iPad is going to be the top of the line graphics-wise in the tablet world. Apparently the display was too big for Apple to even showcase on their projector!

I’m sure interested in buying one, but I don’t want to pay full price. I have a sure fire way to get at least 5% off the top. Target has a Debit card that links up to your bank account. Any purchases you make with that card will automatically receive a 5% discount. Plus, you get FREE shipping on all your online purchases! If prices are similar to iPad2′s, then you could save $24.95 off of a $499 iPad3! That’s $474.05 for a new in box iPad. I don’t know of any other store that will offer you a discount on an iPad, so I’d take advantage of Target’s policy asap. You’ll want to apply for that RED card soon so you’ll have it in hand when they hit the stores.

You can also start buying up their gift card deals between now and then and save those gift cards to be used towards the total. To date, Target doesn’t have any policies prohibiting the use of those gift cards on Apple products. If you shop correctly, you could easily take the price down to around $400 just by doing the $5 Gift Card deals. If you’re in the market for an iPod or XBox, then you’ll be happy to know that Target is offering higher dollar gift cards as incentives to purchase those electronics.

In summary, sign up for the Target RED Debit Card, read through Target’s Sunday flyers and shop Gift Card promotional items, stockpile those gift cards and use the RED Debit Card, Target Gift Cards, and your recyclable Target shopping bags to get a nice discount on the new iPad3!

***I would love to hear how you saved on the iPad3 with Gift Cards or other promotions! Please email me or leave a comment here!***

XOXO,
Rachel
